Nettie Lueva Crawford's Obituary
Nettie Lueva Gandee Crawford, 93, of Charleston, departed this earth on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the Hubbard Hospice House after a long battle with lung cancer.
Nettie will be led into eternity by the love of her life, William O. "Bill" Crawford, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her father, William Z. Gandee, mother, Nettie Eagle Gandee, sisters, Martha Spencer, Elsie Mae Boggess, Lora Bryant and brothers, David Cecil Gandee and William Darrel Gandee.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Doris (Howland) Sharpe of Sod, WV and Norma (Tony) Giovinazzi of Long Island, NY; nephew, Ray (Mary) Spencer of Valley Fork, WV; and several other nieces and nephews.
Nettie's passion was her bowling and fishing. She was also well known in the Charleston area for her seamstress work.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, August 31, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
