Nina Jean Miller, 87, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on December 4, 2024, at Hubbard House in Charleston, WV.

Born on November 26, 1937, Nina dedicated her life to her family, community, and the Lord.

Nina graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and later worked as an office manager for Dr. Kurusu and at Lincoln Jr. High, where she also attended her primary schooling. A lifelong member of North Charleston Baptist Church, her faith played a central role throughout her life. Nina and her husband, Robert Lee Miller, were shining examples of faith and marriage, embodying the spirit of commitment and love.

Nina was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend, cherished by all who knew her. Her love for her grandchildren was unparalleled, and she enjoyed every moment spent with them, making her home a refuge of joy and warmth.

Nina was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Wilkinson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth Truman, Jack Truman, Maxine Lail, Bill Lail, Lois Whaley, Curtis Whaley, Berman Wilkinson, Wanda Wilkinson, and Paul David Wilkinson.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Lee Miller; sons, Mark Miller (Maria Medeiros)  and Steve Miller (Michelle); daughter, Melissa Caylor (George); grandchildren, Quinton, Dillon, Maura, Luca, Judah, Georgie, and step grandaughter Natasha.; step great-grandchildren, Connor and Callum; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, on December 14, 2024, at North Charleston Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hubbard House in memory of Nina, honoring her compassionate spirit and loving heart.
