Norma Maxine McQuain, 74, daughter of the late Tom and Franie Brown, loving wife, mother, sister and friend, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at home. Her pain and suffering has passed and she is now at peace.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brothers, Verl, Paul "Burr", Dencil "T-Bo" and her sister, Garnet.
Norma shared her "gifts" of crochet and craft with her family and many others.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 53 years, Wayne Grey McQuain; her sons, David and his wife, Mary Kay McQuain of Morgantown, Gary "Mac" McQuain of Dunbar and Dale and his wife, Julie McQuain of Richmond, Ky; her sister, Mabel Harper of Buckhannon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew, Samantha and Matthew, along with several nieces and nephews.
Please join the family in celebrating her memory at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Mar. 2.
The funeral service to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to First Church United Methodist, 1401 Myers Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064 or to a church or charity of your choice.
