Norma Marie Tilman, 76, of Dunbar, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2006, in Hubbard Hospice House, after a short illness.

She was born in Putnam County, and was a former employee of Dunbar Glass and Kanawha Glass, where she worked as a glass painter. She then continued a love of arts and crafts. Norma was a member of A.J. Humphreys Memorial United Methodist Church, Dunbar.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donald "Bunk" Tilman.

Mrs. Tilman is survived by her sister, Vesta Casto of Paradise; brother, Delbert T. Riffee of Red House; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge her neighbors and very special friends who visited her, sent cards or kept her in their thoughts and prayers.

Service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless, Jr. officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 18, at Monticello Memorial Gardens, Charlottesville, VA.
