Ofa S. Young's Obituary
Ofa S. Young, 82, of Ripley, WV, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at Jackson General Hospital.
He was a retired Command Sergeant Major with the WV Army National Guard and was a veteran of WW II. He was also retired from the US Postal Service as a manager of fleet operations.
Surviving are his son, Henry Young of Prestonsburg, KY; step-son, Hans Wurfel of Palm Dale, CA; brother, Winston Wesley Young of Trace Fork and sister, Loretta Haynes of Tuppers Creek. Also surviving are three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial with military rites will be at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
