Olive "Marlene" Johnson, 77, of Dunbar passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

She was born on August 26, 1945 to the late James and Virginia Carr. She was a graduate of Clay County High School.

Marlene was a loving mother and grandmother. She was formerly employed by the WV Department of Health and Human Resources in Clay before moving to Kanawha County 15 years ago. She loved shopping and southern cooking.

Marlene is survived by her son, Jim Johnson of Columbus, OH; grandson, Gauge Johnson of Charleston; and sister, Janice Holcomb of Wallback.

A service will be held at a later date.
