Opal Gandee's Obituary
Opal Parsons Gandee, 94, of Poca, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at CAMC – General Hospital.
She was a former cook for Shoney's Restaurant and Jack's Restaurant in Charleston and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Bigley Avenue in Charleston. Mrs. Gandee was a native of Spencer.
She was preceded in death by two children, Ronald and Doris Gandee.
Surviving are her children, Betty Good of Poca, William D. Gandee, Jr. of Racine, WI, Grayson Gandee of Jackson, OH, Donald Gandee of Nitro, Raymond Gandee of Dunbar, John Gandee of Ladysmith, Va., Randall Gandee of Mt. Olive, WV, David Gandee of St. Clairsville, OH and Peggy McCallister of South Charleston. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 2, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 1, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
