Oretha B. Pleasant's Obituary
Oretha B. Pleasant, born March 15, 1937, passed away on February 14, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House, surrounded by family.
She was a graduate of Garnet High School and retired from the Charleston Job Corps Center after 31 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald; daughter, Kimberly; and grandson Lawrence Booker.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicki and Sandi (LL) Greenhowe; sons, Rex (Sheila) and Ronald; nephew, Terry Berkeley; uncle, Maryland Barksdale; grandchildren, Natasha, Amber, Rex, Andrew, Trey, Ashley, Ronald, Kimberly; and great-grandchildren, Larell, Sarayah, Malcolm, Trent; and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, February 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Matthew Watts officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hubbard Hospice House West at Thomas Hospital, 4605 MacCorkle Ave, SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
