Oretta Sue Ashley's Obituary
Oretta Sue Ashley, 58, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on
Wednesday, September 3, 2008
She was a former employee of Union Carbide and Bayer Corporation and was a native of Oak Hill, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Goldie Ashley.
She leaves behind her only daughter, Christina L. Ashley of Dunbar; brother, Stephen Ashley of Mt. Pleasant, NC; sisters, Cindy Ashley of Oak Hill and Sheila Murphy of Waxahachie, Tx. She is also survived by her companion, Jerry Vickers and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Chaplain Terry Yarr officiating. Entombment will follow at 2 p.m. at Highlawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
