Orville E. "Skeeter" Justice, 73, of South Charleston, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a lifelong resident of South Charleston. Mr. Justice was a former employee of Price Landscaping Co., and retired from the City of South Charleston after 25 years of service. He was also employed by the Kanawha County Board of Education as a custodian at South Charleston High School and was currently positioned at the Ben Franklin Career Center. He had been with the Kanawha County Board of Education for 35 years. "Skeeter" was a wonderful husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Carrie Alice Keefer Justice, brother, Thomas Hallie Justice and sisters, Myrtle Virginia Justice Fernatt Arden, Alma Roberta Justice Settles Eads, Bertha Ellen Justice Wilson Payne and Rosella Justice Payne.
Surviving are his wife and tender caregiver, Rometta Sue "Susie" Bays Justice; son, Roy Eugene Justice of South Charleston; granddaughter, Karrie Marie Ann Justice; close special nephew, Ron Payne of St. Albans and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephew and nieces and family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Juanita Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
