Patricia "Penny" Gale Blizzard, 79, of Nitro passed away on February 17, 2023 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oren and Laura Cawthon; son, Larry Jr. "Bubby"; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Blizzard; and best friend, Sue Davis.

Penny is survived by her husband, Patrick Wood Blizzard; sons, Jeffrey Wood Blizzard, Michael Patrick Blizzard, Joseph Timothy Blizzard; daughter, Regina; sister, Sandra Pile (Bill); grandchildren, Michaela Gale Blizzard; Michael Samuel Blizzard, Jennifer Dawn Blizzard and Woody; great grandchildren, Rory James, Lexi, Alley Cat, and David Hamilton; and friend, Becky along with many other friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21 in Grandview Memorial Park with Pastor Robert Haley officiating.
