Patricia Ann "Patty" Coen, 61, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the Golden Living-Riverside Nursing Home.
She was a native of Toledo, Ohio and was a former manager of the former Long John Silvers Restaurant in North Charleston. Patty had also been formerly employed by Fas Chek and Johnnie's Meat Market.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, William Hunt and Lucille Spaulding and by her sister, Roberta Justice.
Surviving are her loving husband, David Coen; sons, Tom Walker and wife, Angie of Huntington, Troy Rucker and Terry Rucker of Campbells Creek; step-sons, Shannon Coen of Mt. Solon, VA and Jeff Coen of Des Moines, Iowa; step-daughter, Tammy Cooper of Xenia, OH; brother, Gary Hunt and wife, Catherine of Charlotte, NC; sister, Della Lowe of St. Albans; brothers-in-law, Roger Coen and wife, Lynn of Bibee, TN, Ronald Coen of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister-in-law, Rose Clendenin and husband, Boyd of White Pine, TN. Patty is also survived by five grandchildren and one great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Robert VanFossen officiating. Entombment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
