Patsy Jean Stewart, 74, of Dunbar, WV passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at  home after a brief illness. Her light was extinguished just two days shy of her 75th birthday.

She was born March 16, 1950, in St. Louis, MO to Donald McBenge and Mary (Arban) McBenge of St. Louis, Mo. After leaving the Midwest, she traveled all across the US making residence in Washington, California, Florida before settling down in Dunbar, WV in 1977 to raise her family.

Patsy married the absolute love of her life,Joe Andrew Stewart, on November 26, 1993 cherishing each and every moment together until his heavenly ascension on May 16, 2010.

Also proceeding her in death were parents, Donald and Mary; sister, Ethel Modglin of Ava, IL; brother, Donald McBenge of St. Louis; and daughter, Michelle Heater of Noman, OK.

Patsy is survived by sons, Michael Boggess of Chalotte, NC,  Kenneth Boggess of Dunbar, WV, Jackie Barker; daughter, Michelle "MiMi" Barker of Woodleaf, NC and Leslie Lightner of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Anna, Matthew, Dalton, Hailey, Wyatt, Austin and Jaden; along with great-grandchildren, Sage and Maisy.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
