Patti L. Milam Hanson, 67, of Dunbar, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

She was top 10 of her graduating class at WVU School of Nursing. She worked at various hospitals in Charleston and was a charge RN at dialysis in the old McMillan Hospital. She retired from CAMC Memorial.

Patti was a former member of the Women's Club of Dunbar and a former Girl Scout leader.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Yewell F. and Crystal K. Plumley; and brother, Michael A. Milam.

Patti is survived by her husband, Bernard; three stepchildren; mother, Doris J. Burdette of Dunbar; brothers, Randall Milam (Jacquelyn) of Tyler Mountain; Charles Milam of Raleigh, NC; sister, Karen Milam-Foster (Noble) of Dunbar; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Jim Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Charleston.
