Obituary

Paul Harry Miller, of Charleston, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2006, in Hubbard Hospice House.

Born May 26, 1915, he grew up in Plymouth and Dunbar, and was a Dunbar High School graduate. Paul retired from Union Carbide, South Charleston. He was a member of Starcher Baptist Church. Paul was a member of South Charleston A.F. & A.M. Lodge #168, and Scottish Rite Bodies.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Claudestine M. Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry W. and Margaret Miller of Sissonville; daughter, Nancy L. Miller of Charleston; sisters, Louise Martin of Alhambra, CA, Betty Harmon, and her husband, Howard D. of St. Louis, MO, Westine Smith, and her husband, Brooks of Dunbar, Dorothy Dolin of Dunbar, Lillian P. Miller of Dunbar; grandson, Patrick L. Miller, and his wife, Veronica of Arlington, VA; granddaughter, Michelle L. Barbour, and her husband, Michael of Ona; great granddaughter, Sydney Michelle Barbour of Ona; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to: Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.

Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 22, 2006, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Doyle Smith and the Rev. Tom Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 21, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
