Obituary

Paul Kenneth "Ken" Priddy, born November 9, 1954 of Charleston formerly of St. Albans and Colorado, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 at home after an extended illness.

Ken was the son of Virginia Ann Whittington Priddy and the late Paul V. Priddy of St. Albans.

Ken is survived by his wife and best friend Carolyn Harvey Priddy and their children; Danielle Lynn Haught and husband, Tobe of NM, Stacey Leigh Gillan and husband, Nic of Denver CO, Elizabeth Kae Vance and husband, Aaron of Hurricane, Jonathan Mullins of St. Albans and Timothy Mullins of St. Albans; 2 grandchildren, Chase and Gracie Vance, who were the joy and pleasure of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Virginia Ann Priddy of St. Albans; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Wayne Mishoe of FL, Pam and Erv Stauss of VA and brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Carmen Priddy of St. Albans. He also has many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a dog Andy who was his friend and companion.

Ken grew up in St. Albans where he graduated from St. Albans High School in 1973. He attended St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He was a life time scout in the BSA. Ken was a tool maker by trade, after an extended time with Union Carbide, he moved to Colorado where he worked for North Jefferson County Parks and Recreation. He retired from Apex in Arvada, CO.

"We lost a great son, husband, father & friend and father today. We will always love and miss him.
Life is short, but he lived his life to the fullest! We will have you always and forever."

Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, November 15, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with the Rev. Loretta D. Isaiah officiating. It was Kenny's wish to be cremated.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
