Paul Junior Starcher, 97, of Cross Lanes departed this life on August 5, 2022 at Hubbard Hospice House.

He was born in Spencer, West Virginia. Paul was a master carpenter and builder, who built many homes in the Charleston area for over 50 years. He was a member of Dunbar First Baptist Church. Paul served his country in the US Army in World War II.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Starcher.

He is survived by his son, John Starcher (Charmie); grandson, Chris Starcher (Monica); great grandchildren, Oliver and Amelia; and niece, Jacque Gumm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cross Lanes Baptist Church, 108 Cadel Drive, Cross Lanes, WV 25313.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Seth Polk officiating. Entombment will be held in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
