Paula Chambers' Obituary
Paula (Polly Duckworth) Chambers, 71, of Dunbar, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2007.
She was born March 27, 1936 in Cowen, WV and graduated from Cowen High School. She then went to work for American Airlines in Chicago and later, sold real estate for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Chambers, and her mother and father, Beatrice and Paul Duckworth.
Surviving are her five children, her daughter and loving caregiver, Kristin Gallagher and her husband, Bill, who made their home with her mother, daughter, Pamela Parsons and her husband, Ralph; sons, Paul Chambers and his wife, Elizabeth, Brad Chambers and his wife, Laura and Don Chambers and his wife, Jeanne; sister, Sandra Armentrout and her husband, Bud; brother, Paul Duckworth and his wife, Roseanne; She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Paula donated her body to the WVU Human Gift Registry.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, October 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Chris Moles officiating.
Friends may gather with the family 4 p.m. until service time at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
