Paula Jean Rhodes Farrell, 37, of St. Albans, formerly of Newport, KY, went home to be with our Lord, Saturday, November 19, 2011.

Paula was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Fields Cooke, sons, Donald and Dakota, daughter, Jessica and sister, Jerie Collier.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Stephen R. Farrell; children, Barbara Ellen Rhodes of Edgewood, KY, Robert Lee Rhodes of Newport, KY, Ian, Isaiah, Kassondra, Brandon, Nathan, JJ, and Joseph of St. Albans; three grandchildren of Texas. She is also survived by her father and step-mother, Paul and Sharon Rhodes; fathers, William Elswick and Robert Petry of WV; adopted parents, Kevin and Cynthia Renton of PA; mother-in-law, Mary Farrell of KY. She is survived by sisters, Lori Huffman, Jenny Rhodes, Stacy Reid and Mary Harper and by her brother, Eric Harrison and by several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Paula co-pastored the Oasis Church of God in KY, was former president of the Ladies Auxilliary of Mission Church of God in KY and served as secretary of the Save My Children Ministry of PA.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. James Abner of St. Albans and the Rev. Wayne Guilliams of KY officiating. Burial will follow in Burford Cemetery, Dutch Creek Road, Charleston.

Donations may be given to the immediate family.
