Pauline Maynard
Robinson
October 21, 1926 – May 10, 2025
Pauline Maynard Robinson, 98, of South Charleston, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 10, 2025.
Pauline grew up in McConnell, WV and later moved to St. Albans, WV where she met the love of her life, her husband, Creed. She was employed by the Sylvania Plant in Huntington, WV prior to her marriage.
Pauline loved to write beautiful poetry, she loved to read, and she loved to work puzzles that challenged her mind, but most of all she loved being a prayer warrior for those in need. She was a very Godly woman who loved Jesus and lived a Godly life for others to see. Many people will be in Heaven because of her faith. Pauline was a lady with Class. She was compassionate, loving and kind. Everyone who knew her loved her very much. It was an honor to call her our Mother.
Pauline was strong in the Lord, but gentle in spirit. She was confident in her Lord, but humble as a woman. She was sure of who she was in Christ and yet inquisitive of knowing him better. She is with Jesus and she is with her husband Creed. This is a reunion she has long hoped for. To God be the Glory! Until we see you again.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Creed; daughter, Brenda Baker; father, Ross Maynard; mother, Verlie Maynard Dawson; and great-grandchildren, Jason Ratcliff and Heaven Gordon.
Remaining here to cherish her life and memory are her daughters, Carol Robinson Barefield (Rob) and Pamela Robinson Aultz (David) of South Charleston; her grandchildren, Rob Barefield (Angie) of Cross Lanes, Vanessa Davis of Frazier's Bottom, Jay Ratcliff (Beth) and Pauli Gordon of South Carolina; her great-grandchildren, Creed Pritt of Teays Valley, Beau Davis of Frazier's Bottom; Elijah Barefield and Elianah Barefield of Cross Lanes, Ashley Babaa of North Carolina, Jamie Chapman, and Breanna Gordon of South Carolina; along with five great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Hospice House at CAMC Memorial for the kindness and compassion they have shown our mother during the last days of her life. Their efforts to keep her comfortable and pain free during this time meant a great deal to us.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
