Pearlie Jane Tinsley, 87, of Big Tyler Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

She was born on July 10, 1936, in Poca, to the late Lovell and Tressie Slater.

Pearlie was a loyal wife and mother. She was hardworking and loved raising her garden, canning and her cats. She was a member of the West Virginia Antique Engine and Tractor Association. She was a loyal Mountaineer fan and Cincinnati Reds fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Tinsley; granddaughter, Anita Tinsley; and sister, Patsy Workman.

Pearlie is survived by her children, Vicki Good and husband Rodney, Jim Tinsley, Scott Tinsley; grandchildren, Mike Good and wife Pam, Anthony Good, Caleb Tinsley; great-grandchildren, Beverly Haynes, Jeffrey Haynes, Jacob Haynes, Alex Good, Jayden Good; sister, Mary Bernice Workman; two great-great-grandchildren; and her special helpers, Edna Copley and Kathy Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 16, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Rodney Good officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
