Pete Flood, 67, sadly passed away on Sunday, September 10 at Select Specialty Hospital after a long struggle to recover following surgery and other complications.

Pete was generally a good-humored man, but could be just as ornery. He loved motorcycles and riding them. He enjoyed
cooking, bowling, playing pool, English Bulldogs, old VT Westerns and movies, and having a good laugh or cracking a joke. Pete was an avid collector of hats, and loved collecting the unique, fun, and personal preference of head coverings. Pete held many jobs during his lifetime, but he enjoyed being a cook the most.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald "Jerry" and Viola "Tootsie" Flood; grandparents; all siblings, but one; his wife, Donna; and one son, Spencer Flood.

Pete is survived by his son, Casey (Amber); daughters, Meloni and Samantha; stepson, Keith Nutter; sister, Tina Flood of
Florida; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Cedar Ridge Nursing Home for taking care of our loved one, even with his stubbornness, while also enjoying his humorous sided during his last years.

Per Pete's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
