Phoebe Good's Obituary
Phoebe Good, 100, of Sissonville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born October 23, 1915 on Dudden Fork, Jackson County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Fisher and Cora Spencer Fisher.
Phoebe was a member of Fisher Chapel United Methodist Church. She dearly loved her church and her church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meredith Nile Good; her son, Tom Good; and his former wife, Julia Monnig-Good.
Phoebe is survived by daughters, Janet Jones (Ray), JoAnn Hunt (Keith), and Joyce Good-Pitchford (Carl); former daughter-in-law, Trish Montgomery-Good; grandchildren, Tom Good (Ruth), Randy Jones, Erin Eichhorn (Chris) of Iowa, and Jason Good; great- grandchildren, Kyle Good of Huntington, Katie, Grace, Kendra and John Eichhorn of Iowa.
The family would like to extend special thanks to HospiceCare, especially to Holly McComas, R.N., Tiffany Leslie, C.N.A., Judy Hodge, S.W., and special caregiver Vickie Burgess.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13 at Fisher Chapel United Methodist, Sissonville with Rev. Raymond D. Stonestreet and Rev. Earl Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Sissonville.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 12 and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Fisher Chapel United Methodist, Sissonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd W. Charleston, WV 25387, HospiceCare WV , or to Joy in Singing Ministries, 19459 Charleston Rd, Kenna, WV 25248.
