Phyllis Jean Ferrell died peacefully and among loved ones on Friday, July 27, 2018. Born on June 14, 1935 in Charleston, WV, Phyllis was 83 years old.

Phyllis was a long-time member of Dunbar First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Ferrell; mommy, Ella Lee Chethum; birth mother, Freda Anderson; brothers, Charles Keefer and Bill Ball; sisters, Sarah Jarrett and Viola Kincaid; and step dad, Colby Anderson.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Robin Ferrell Godbey and Marsha Edens Bridwell; son, Mike Ferrell and his wife, Lynn; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A simple mention of Brooke Edens for all her love, help, and special care of her mawmaw; and to BoBo our Boxer, for whom she loved with all her heart.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
