Phyllis Jean Holley, 87, of Dunbar died August 26, 2014, at her residence.

She was born February 28, 1927, a daughter of the late Hobart Koontz and Gladys Marie Jones Koontz.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jeffery Rudolph Holley; brothers, Russell Edison Koontz and Jackie Ray Koontz; sister, Jacqueline Faye Koontz Bowman; grandson, Scott Elliott Martin; and son-in-law, Elliott Howard Martin.

She was a home maker and member of Dunbar Mountain Mission Church.

Phyllis is survived by her children, David W Holley (Delores) of Unicoi, Tennessee, Pamela J Martin of Charleston, Mary Ann Mills (Michael) of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Phillip W Holley (Carolyn) of Dunbar; brothers, William Koontz (Joanna) of Denver, Colorado, Cletis Koontz of Melbourne, Florida and Paul Koontz of Charleston; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Michael Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
