Phyllis Skees' Obituary
Phyllis Skees, of Dunbar, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at her home.
She was born September 4, 1922 to the late Minnie and Andrew Blankenship of Inez, NY. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew, Jr. of Frankfort, KY and Goble of Columbus, OH.
Surviving are her husband, Charles L. Skees of Dunbar; daughter, Donna Joyce Smith and her husband, Ronald K. Smith of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Thomas A. Skees and his wife, Linda S. Skees of Dunbar. Also surviving are 3 granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren, Tina Watson and her husband John of St. Albans and their son Christopher; Tina Pressler of Fort Gordon, GA and her daughter, Emily E. Pressler of Connecticut; and Tamatha L. Duffield of Virginia Beach, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 9, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
