Phyllis Jean Smith's Obituary
Phyllis Jean Phillips Smith, 78, of Sissonville, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 8, 1934 and was a lifelong resident of the Sissonville area.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy Dana Paul Phillips, parents, Clovis L. and Pearl Kidd, brothers, Harold Kidd and Sherman Kidd and by her grandson, Stacy Paul Phillips.
Surviving are her husband, Elbert Smith of Sissonville; son, Steven Paul Phillips and his wife, Rebecca of Middle Fork; daughter, Deborah Jean Reed and her husband, James of Sissonville. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kathy Pauley of St. Albans, Janie Cottrell, Angela Mairs and Jason Phillips, all of Sissonville; great grandchildren, Tommy Casto of St. Albans, Savanah Phillips and Chris Cottrell of Sissonville, Adriana Pauley of St. Albans and Jordan Phillips of Maryland.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Mike Good officiating. Burial will follow in the Phillips and Long Cemetery, Derricks Creek.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
