Polly Marie Rogers' Obituary
Polly Marie Rogers, 86, of Dunbar went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2012.
Polly was a member, treasurer, and Sunday school teacher at First Church of God Dunbar. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a friend to all. Polly made a great impression on the staff and residences at Valley Center, and she loved to participate in all of their activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ray Rogers; son, Robert Ray Rogers; parents, Ezra and Vina Mae Owens; sisters, Irene St. Clair Jeanette Owens.
Polly is survived by her son, Phillip Rogers (Jill); sister, Imogene Fields; grandchildren, Shane Rogers (Jennifer) and Monica Matthews (Ben); and six great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, at Valley View Baptist Church, 4894 W. Washington St., Cross Lanes, with Pastor Paul Rice and Reverend Dr. Larry McCallister officiating.
Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
