R. Faye Kelly, 77, of South Charleston, passed away at home July 5, 2006 of a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Otis C. and Lucy L. Noel of Roane County. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger L. Kelly, Sr. and 3 sisters and 9 brothers.
She was retired from K-Mart at Patrick Street and was a longtime child of God. She was a member of the Riverview Gospel Tabernacle.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, the Rev. Rupert C. Kelly and daughters, Karen Lemon of St. Albans and Sharon Cleveland of Culloden; sister, Alfie Fields of Parkersburg; brother, Elliott "Bud" Noel of Ohio; 11 grandchildren, one of which is SPC Matthew Cleveland who is serving his country in Iraq with the 1257th Army Division. Also surviving are 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Jerry Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Looney Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
