Rachel Mae Chapman's Obituary
Rachel Mae Chapman, 87, of South Charleston passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011.
Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle L. Chapman.
Mrs. Chapman is survived by her children, James and Mary Ann Chapman of Alum
Creek, John Chapman of St. Albans, Tina and Earl Williams of South
Charleston, William and Tammy Chapman of Charlottesville, VA; brother and
sister-in-law, David and Ada White of St. Albans; sister and brother-in-law,
Margaret and Jim Beane of St. Albans; grandchildren, Cindy Chapman, Jonathon
Chapman and his girlfriend Apinya, Jamie and Devon Chapman, Dr. Kelli and Travis
McCartney, Morgan Chapman; five great grandchildren; one great-great
grandchild; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Betty Payne.
Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, at
Cunningham Memorial Park Chapel, St. Albans, with Pastor Jack Turner officiating.
Rachel's favorite bible verse was Proverbs 3:5.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to: HospiceCare, 1606
Kanawha Blvd., W., Charleston, WV 25312.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
