Ralph Vincent "Buster" Snyder II, 69, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on March 13, 2026.
Born on December 22, 1956, in Charleston, West Virginia, Ralph was known to many as "Buster." He was a man of strong faith who loved serving the Lord and cherished the time he spent with his family.
Ralph was a 1975 graduate of Nitro High School. He dedicated much of his working life to providing for his family. He worked for 30 years at McLane Mid-Atlantic in Fredericksburg, Virginia, before returning to Charleston, where he spent 12 years working at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Buster had a quick wit and a kind heart that made him a joy to be around. He loved watching sports and was a devoted fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers. Above all, he valued time spent with his loved ones and created many memories with his family that will be treasured forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ernestine Snyder.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Snyder; his three children, Amber (Josh), Angie (Stephen), and Shane (Deja); three stepchildren, Josh, Jessica (Tommy), and Jai; eight grandchildren, Camryn, Bentley, Nathan, Karley, Ayden, Cayde, Abram, and Silas. He is also survived by his siblings, Tom (Connie) and Connie (Frank), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
