Rebecca "Becki" Ann Burgess Rucker, 60,  of Charleston, passed away on September 29, 2024 after a brief illness.

Becki was born in Charleston to the Charles and Lois Burgess.

She attended Stonewall Jackson High School where she graduated with the class of 1982.  Becki worked at AT&T for many years.  She enjoyed helping people and never failed to bring a smile to someone's face.

Becki was preceded in death by her parents, and is surely rejoicing in reuniting with them.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Larry Rucker; her daughters, Brittne (Zach) and Desirae (Kaleb); her grandsons, Alexander, William, and Lakyn; her only sister, Beth (David); along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.

Family will welcome visitors two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice at CAMC Memorial for their wonderful care in her final days.
