Rebecca A. "Becky" Dollison, 52, of Dunbar, passed away Oct. 4, 2006 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

Becky had been an active member of the Serenity Club of Dunbar since July 4, 1986 with 20 years of sobriety. She was a dedicated teacher who loved children. She taught at Anne Bailey Elementary, Roxalana Elementary, Roosevelt Jr. High and Stonewall Jackson Jr. High Schools.

Becky was highly regarded and respected throughout the entire AA community. She touched every individual with whom she came in contact and was the best mother and wife. She was honest, trustworthy and was always showing her unconditional love.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Anderson J. Allen.

Mrs. Dollison is survived by her husband, Mark Dollison; daughter, Kelly A. Wallace, mother, Mildred L. Allen; brothers, Daniel Allen and his wife, "Dot" and David Allen; granddaughters, Kaitlin "Punksie" Wallace and Ella "Ella-Bella" Kimble; sister-in-law, Crystal Allen; special sister, Barb LeFevre; special brother, Bob Evans; 2nd daughter, Katie McCormick; mother-in-law, Pauline Dollison, step-son, Jerome "J.D." Dollison; special children, Stephanie Lasher, Jamie and Stevie Hope and Chris Linville. Becky will also be missed by her dogs, Goliath, Jett and Darcy and her cats, Tango and Trip.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Linda Geronilla officiating.

Becky will be greatly missed and always remembered. She was a gift from God to all of us. We are deeply saddened by her leaving, enriched by her loving gifts and happy that her pain is over.
