Regina Ophelia Hawkins, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

She was born on July 26, 1948 in Dunn Hospital, South Charleston to the late Elizabeth Pope and Howard Hawkins.

Regina attended both Thomas Jefferson High School and Charleston High School.  She was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Charleston.

She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, but loved spending time with her friends and family the most.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her step-father, Henry Pope; grandmother, Lucinda Harthford; grandchildren, Marcus and Patrick; and niece, Rhonda.

She is survived by daughters, Kimberly Jefferson and Kristine Henderson; brothers, Ronald Hawkins (Michelle) and Butch Hawkins; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
