Reta Jean Garwood, 76, of Charleston, passed away on July 23, 2022.

She was born January 11, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Ralph Bailey and Allene Moore.

Reta was retired from a career in Social Work. She was very well liked and will be missed by all those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Garwood, Sr.; and her two sisters, Pamela Carpenter and Lisa Crane.

Reta is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Garwood, of Charleston; a son, Daniel Garwood Jr., Lakewood, Florida; five grandchildren, David Garwood, Jori Garwood, Damion Bays, Seth Bays, and Braelyn Bays; and a sister, Nancy Wokoun.

A Go Fund Me by Tiffany Garwood has been set up on Facebook to assist with expenses.
