Rex Meador, 67, of Dunbar, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 after a short illness.

He was born on August 14, 1951, in Charleston, to the late Charles "Buddy' and Cletia Meador.

Rex was a US Army veteran. He served as a Military Police officer while stationed in Germany. He was a retired KRT bus driver and enjoyed the outdoors.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Ann Meador Ripley.

Rex is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Cox (Jesse) of Elkview, and Rita Coffey (Eric) of Barboursville.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 15 at Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle activity building, 115 Steele St., Dunbar. Please wear casual attire.
