Richard Allen Clark, 47, of Nitro, passed away Nov. 23, 2006, at CAMC Memorial Division after a 12 month illness with lung cancer.
He was formerly employed at the Boulevard Recreation Center and was a truck driver for DHL. Richard was a lifelong resident of the west side of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Delbert Francisco.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Lynn Clark of Hurricane and son, J. J. Songer of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Carol Clark of Tyler Mountain; aunts and uncles, Ruby and Darrell Shaffer, with whom he resided, Joyce Salisbury of Cross Lanes, Betty Baxter of Paragaway, John and Jim Clark of Tyler Mountain and Donnie and Terri Clark of Poca; and special best friend, Karna Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Robert VanFossen officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
