Richard Meadows, 56, lifelong resident of Charleston, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 27, 2014.

He attended George Washington High School and was retired from C&O Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Harrah.

Richard is survived by his mother, Sandra Meadows of Charleston; father, Ted Meadows of Cross Lanes; son, Michael Meadows of Charleston; daughter, Ashley Salisbury of Fayetteville; stepdaughter, Kim Humphries of Charleston, daughter-in-law, Amanda Serreno ; grandson, Tyler Meadows; uncle, Jay Harrah of Charleston; several aunts and cousins; and lifelong best friend, Bruce "Dinky" Pauley .

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with a memorial service celebrating Rick's life starting at 7 p.m. with Pastor Marc Sundstorm officiating.
