Rita Joyce Taylor's Obituary
Rita Joyce Taylor, of Dunbar, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007 in CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Joyce was an employee of United Bank of Charleston, and a member of the Rocky Branch Church in Walton where she also served as pianist. She was an avid collector of Longenberger Baskets and Dept 56 for which she was well known for her magical Christmas displays.
Her mother, Iva Schoolcraft, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Brice Taylor; daughter, Mechelle Taylor; father, Ray Schoolcraft; brothers, Tim and Gary Schoolcraft; sister, Elaine Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, May 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Gary Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Looney Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
