It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious dad, Robert "Bob" A. Cantley, Sr., 90, of South Charleston, WV at Hubbard Hospice House on December 22, 2025.

Born on October 10, 1935, Bob was the thirteenth child of the late Emma and Jacob Cantley.

Bob was a 1953 graduate of Washington District High School.  He retired from the  West Virginia Air National Guard in 1990 with 37 years of service. Bob took great pride in his work, retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.  His wife and family were extremely proud of his accomplishments.

As a Christian, Bob enjoyed reading his Bible, and was a member of several churches often serving on the board.  He was also a faithful viewer of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  Bob always enjoyed sitting on his porch and watching westerns.  He was a big WVU Mountaineer fan, and was always cheering them on.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by Mildred Cantley who was the love of his life, and 12 siblings.

Bob is survived by his three children, Robbie Cantley (Jean) of South Charleston, Pam Brown of Julian, and Joyce Lett (Steve) of Poca; three grandsons, Michael Cantley of South Charleston, Joshua (Paula) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Tyler Lett of  Poca; two great-grand grandchildren, Carlet and Glea Cantley of Charleston; along with a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Gene Pauley officiating.  Entombment will follow in Graceland Memorial  Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
