Robert L. "Bobby" Burdette, 65, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2010.

He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and was employed by the Big Sandy Superstore. He attended the Faith Freewill Baptist Church in St. Albans.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, John and Wilma Burdette of Dunbar.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Hazel M. Burdette; daughters, Robin Blankenship and her husband, Bobby of St. Albans and Barbara Curry and her husband, Waldo of Dunbar; son, Rick Moffatt and his wife, Toni of St. Albans; brother, Jim Burdette and his wife, Shirley of Dunbar; sisters, Donna Thaxton of Sissonville and Nancy Crawford and her husband, Roger of Orlando, Fla. Also surviving are six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Tom Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
