Robert G. Harper, Jr., 52, of Cross Lanes,West Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2023.

He was born on November 4, 1970 in Charleston to the late Robert Harper, Sr. and Carolyn Reese.

Robert had many things in his life that he was passionate about, above all was his loving family.  He loved playing basketball, and video games with his sons and grandkids.  Robert also poured his heart and soul into bowling.  He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by this sister, Melissa Harper; and son, Brandon Lee Harper.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Ashley; sons, Nicholas Harper and Joseph Gibson; brother, William Harper; and, grandchildren, Joella, Brandanlynn, and Maxton Harper.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor David Keeney officiating. Burial will follow in the Harkins Family Cemetery.

Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
