Robert Lee Knight, 70, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
He who was also known as “Snooze” by his dear friends, was born on January 6, 1956, to the late Charles and Maxine Knight.
Bob grew up in St. Albans and went to West Virginia University where he earned a Master of Science in Forestry. He remained in St. Albans all of his life. Bob blessed us all with his kind heart, and gentle spirit. He had a love for football, especially the Cleveland Browns. Bob also worked for his brother, Chuck, in the construction field for many years. Bob will be missed and remembered by many.
He is survived by his five siblings, Chuck Knight, Cheryl Balombini, Pam Tripp (Simon), Patty Tate, and Jeff Knight (Cindy); his five nieces and one nephew; along with many great nephews and nieces, aunts, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar 1236 Myers Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
All are welcome to come share a memory.
