Robert Lee Samms, Jr., a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 26, 2025, after a brief illness.

Born on January 1, 1950, Robert will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia Samms.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela; sons, Gregory of Dunbar, WV, and Bryan of Jacksonville, FL; daughter-in-law, Angie of Jacksonville, FL; five beloved grandchildren, Adrianna, Brent, Blake, Ashley, and Braxton all of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Ken and Steve both of St. Albans, WV; along with his sister, Linda Riggins of St. Albans, WV.

Robert's love, guidance, and legacy will continue to inspire his family and friends.  His memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, Robert.  Your love and legacy will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastors Bryan Samms and Doug McComas officiating.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service.

Entombment will take place at 10:00 a.m.on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Grandview Memorial Park.
