Obituary

Robert Todd Lamb, 53, of Dunbar, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2017 at CAMC General following a long illness.

He was born on August 6, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Lee Lamb and Nancy Carol Epperly Lamb.

Todd spent a good portion of his life working in maintenance at various businesses such as WV State University, Institute and River View Towers, St Albans to name a few. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle of many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Lamb; and step brother, Marty Lamb (4Ch/5Gch).

Todd is survived by the joy of his life his wife, Rebecca Sue Blizzard Lamb of Dunbar and son, James Lamb. The happiest times of his life were spent on the football and baseball fields with his son. He was so proud of the man his son became and was blessed with a daughter in-law, Sarah Groves Lamb; and three grandchildren, Brennan, Rita and Kenzie Lamb. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Carol Epperly Lamb; siblings, Ellen Wallace (3Ch/6Gch), Michael Lamb (2Ch/7Gch), Jean Harrison (2Ch/5Gch), Cindy Bay (2 Ch/2 Gch), and Mark Lamb (3Ch/6Gch) all of IN, Vicky Jones (2Ch/5Gch) and Kelly Jones (2Ch) both of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Todd will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Dunbar Mountain Mission, 605 Dunbar Ave., with Pastor Ray Parsons officiating.

Family and friends will gather at 2:30 p.m., prior to the service at the church.

A sympathy meal will immediately follow the service provided by Dunbar Mountain Mission.

The Lamb family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Pastor Ray Parsons and all members of the Dunbar Mountain Mission.
