Robert Ellis Walker's Obituary
Robert Ellis "Pops" Walker, 69, of Dunbar, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired pipeline foreman with Ajax Pipeline Company and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Walker attended the Dunbar First Church of God and was formerly of Maryland and Delaware.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reginal and Ellistine Walker.
Surviving are his wife, Mary L. Walker; daughters, Lisa Bailey and her husband, Eddie of Dunbar, Caren Walker of South Charleston and Cynthia Walker and her fiancé Matt Morris of St. Albans; brother, James Walker of Delmar, MD; sisters, Mary Ann Bove of Bridgeview DE and Sue McGee of Seaford, DE. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chuckie Ellison, Jacob Walker and Tori Bailey.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister, Jr. officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
