Obituary

Robert Lee Wooten, 75, died August 24, 2007 in Fort Wayne, Indiana following a long illness.

He was born in Crab Orchard, West Virginia on June 16, 1932. He was an employee of the K-Mart Corporation for 35 years serving in many different positions. He also was in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Wisconsin in the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Humphreys), his son Gregory of Indianapolis and daughter Brenda Lane of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Ashley Southern of Valdosta, GA, and Chad Lane of Fort Wayne and one great-grandchild Jayden Southern, Valdosta, GA. He is survived by one brother, James Wooten of Bowie, Maryland and 3 sisters; Shirley Dinsmore of Coal City, WV, Wanda Gail Wooten of Mabscott, WV and Bonnie Gray of Beckley, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Internment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call beginning at 12 noon until service time at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
