Robin Lynn Saunders, 58, of Sissonville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2020.

She was born on September 16, 1961, in Charleston, to the late Dennis and Josephine Haynes.

Robin loved gospel music, reading the word of God, and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Haynes.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Carroll Saunders; children, Amber McMillion and husband Jason of Charleston, Amy Sanns and husband Carl of Huntington, Gregory Edens Jr. and wife Melissa of Ripley, Benjamin Saunders and wife Samantha of Mount Savage, MD, Sheila Saunders of Hurricane, Angela Saunders of Sissonville, Nicole Slaman and husband Brian of Longmont, CO; 18 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 13, at the Shining Light Celebration Church, Charleston, with Pastor Gene Herdman officiating. Burial will follow in Tolley Cemetery, Sissonville.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the Shining Light Celebration Church, Charleston.
