Roger Lavaughn Caudill, 65, of Dunbar, passed away at his home, on Sunday, August 27, 2017

He was born on August 8, 1952. in Paintsville, KY, to the late Duel and Maggie Caudill.

Roger attended Dunbar High School where he was quite the athlete.   He was a standout on the basketball court as well as on the football field. Roger, also attended Glenville State College.

Roger had worked for many years as a retail manager.  During this time, he worked for Kroger, as well as Sally Beauty Supply.  The last years of his life were devoted to the care of his beloved mother, Maggie.

He was a member of the Dunbar Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Taylor

Roger is survived by 2 nieces, Michele (Eric) Smith of San Diego, CA and Valerie (Tim) Mullins of Wardensville, WV and a host of relatives and friends.  Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Roger loved him.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Greg Hudson officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
