Roger Lee Jones, 75, of Dunbar, WV passed away on April 11, 2026 at CAMC Memorial after a short illness.

He was born on September 7, 1950 to the late Meda and Lester Jones.

Roger was a 1968 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and a long time Dallas Cowboy fan.  He was an avid gun collector.  Roger loved cooking, but he loved his family most of all.  He worked for and then retired from the United States Post Office.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his son, Michael and grandson, Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Debra of Dunbar; his daughter, Jennifer (Vicki) of Dunbar; his sister, Penny Hanna of Sissonville; and his brothers, Jerry Jones (Pansy) of Ovieda, FL and Charles (Donna) of St. Albans.

The family would like to thank the staff at CPICU at CAMC for their care and compassion to Roger and the family.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.
